Meeting young blind women

Hi everyone I am new to the site. I am a 19 year old sighted man who has been wanting to meet some blind people and hopefully make some friends for a while now but I have had a hard time finding places or websites to help me. I would like to meet a nice young blind woman to get to know. I've read others talking about schools and volunteering.
