Writing project

Hi,

I'm an aspiring writer. I am not blind but I'm very interested in blindness and how it affects people's lives. I have a story in mind in which the protagonists are a blind young lady and her guide dog. I'm learning about the subject but would like to interview an actual person (with basic questions) who is blind since childhood or adolescence and preferably someone who has or has had a guide dog. I would use the material as a reference for the story only (nothing personal would be included). I would appreciate very much any assistance you could give me. You could interview me. I can't do email so you will have to do it on here. I have been blind since birth which is 16 years. I am getting a guide dog very soon. I would love to help you with this project.
