Fed up of mobile phones?

Hi there,

My name is Tamara Maynard and I am a third year university student studying 3D Design for Sustainability.

I am currently working on a project with Visually Impaired Teenagers on designing an inclusive mobile phone and was wondering if you could possibly also help.

They have given me some great ideas which we are developing together but in order to make it as inclusive and well-rounded as possible it would be really helpful to get as many people's inputs as possible.

Through looking through the forums I have noted that many of you have made comments about the phone and I was wondering if you could let me know any problems of issues you might have with mobile phones, and also how you would improve them to better suit your needs and what you would like to see coming onto the market.

Anything you can think of, even if you think it is irrelevant would be greatly appreciated and hopefully help make the project a success!

Thank you Many thanks,

Tamara

Re:Fed up of mobile phones?

I know that there are cell phones that talk a bit like the NV2 from Verizon but I myself have a razor and it's such a pain. I would like a phone that could read everything, including the sites for downloading ringtones. The ting is, I would like them to read but not aloud like to where everyone can hear your business. I would like for them to read in to a bluetooth earpiece or something that looks like an ordinary accessory. I hope I've been helpful.

I would like something that can read everything, but privately.
I've heard that mobile speaks (or maybe mobile talks) software works well but haven't tried it.

Hi everyone. My name is Ali. You may have seen me on xLostGirl815 but this is my new account.

I use MobileSpeak. My phone carrier is AT&T and it works really well. For those of you who have commented on talking "privately," you can purchase earphones that go in the cell phone; they have a microphone so you can talk into. It works great! If you have any more questions just post another response or send me an IM to xLostGirl815, or an email at xLostGirl815@aol.com. I'm glad I could help, always a pleasure! xxx Ali xxx <3
