Hey Everyon I am from Hungary, want to extend my international relationship. I am blind, an earllyborn person, like animals, have a great guide-dog, and would like to practise my english!

That is so awesome! I can't wait till I get a guide dog! What is the name of your dog? What breed is it? Is it easier than a cane? My name is Sarah, and I live in southern California. I was an earlyborn too. I was born in the 5th month. When I was born, I weighed 1 pound, 3 ounces. I would love to hear from you!

I am glad about your comment, that you write to me.
Can I ask how old are you? Are you a student? If yes, what do you study?
I have now 2 dogs, a younger, and an older one.
The older called Bredcrumbs, its hungarian name is Prézli, shes allmost 12 year old, and now I have a younger allmost 2 old labrador called Suzi.
At first, when I was attending the primary school, used a cane. You hawe to know, that at that time it was a boarding school, and could go home on Fridais, and come back to the school on Sundais.
So I could use the cane, but when I was 19 old got my first dog. It was a big change, its faster going with dog then with a cane, but there are some differences.
If you use a cane, you prefer going near a wal, or something, but these dogs lead you not near to the wal. So with a cane, its great to have some points that inform you where you are, for example its usefull in down-towns, where many buildings are close to each other, so its usefull to count the doors.
If you go with a dog, its not so easy, but the dog can search you a door.
Once I wanted to buy a pendrive, and was searching the door of that shop, my dogy took me to an entrance, and went in to it, asked for the pendrive.
The salesgirl was surprised, did not know what to answer.
The situation was, that the shop which I wass looking for was one more door forward, and I asked for a pendriwe at a shop where clothes for women were sold.
So it needs a little braveness to go with a special dog, but its great if you can meet someone, who has a dog.

How can people have guide dog in your state? How long do you have to wayt?

I am a junior in high school. I tried getting a dog, but didn't get accepted. I think in California you have to be 18 to actually get a dog. Is your 12-year-old dog a retired guide dog?
