An older, I mean waaaaaayyyyyy older version of AIM worked, but I thaught I would use this one. And I talked to another friend of mine who said she got it working with Window Eyes, so can someone help me here? Thanks!

What do you use, Sarah? I use Window Eyes, never liked JAWS for some reason.

I use a braillenote.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I'm not a windows eyes user and I know you don't like jaws, but for windows live messenger and AIM, jaws works super and has no issues and is more than easy to navigate.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I would love to use Jays but I have to learn how to first.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I have my WindoW Eyes set up for JAWS shortcuts.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

Sarah, all you do, is, go to the keyboard dropdown and go to keyboard layout, click JAWS. Then click yes and wait.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

Oh and Sarah, I think you have to have the latest version of Window Eyes, not sure. I just noticed it in the latest verson so I'm not sure.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I don't have access to jaws right now.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

How come? Do you have a pc Sarah? Have you evere used JAWS or Window Eyes?

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

Oh and BTW Sarah, I tried JAWS out today... I guess it's OK, I guess I am just more used to Winodw Eyes.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I don't have a pc. I have used Jaws when I went to the school for the blind. I only have a braillenote.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I have used a braillenote, I don't like them. I guess PC'S are just easier for me.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I sometimes don't like my braillenote because it always freezes on me. I use it because I like to read on the internet rather than listen to it.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

Oh Sarah that reminds me. Can you get a braille display for the PC? Because I was thinking of getting one but I wasn't sure if you could. Thanks.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I have a braillenote. How would I hook it up to the PC so I can use it as a display? Thanks, Sarah.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

I don't know how to do that yet. The only thing I know how to do is surf the internet. Sorry I couldn't help.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

Hi, I know for a fact that you can buy a braille display for the PC but they are a bit pricey.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.01

My braillenot can act as a braille display for PC'S. But I don't know how to do it or how it works.

Re:LAtest version of AIM and Window Eyes 7.0
