Pulling naughty stunt, injurred ankel, really hurts, Please help!

So, I was walking my dog; just around this really safe field area in front of my house, and my mom was walking hers in another area, and I tripped. I thought there was a doggy mess in the way, so I ditched the sidewalk for the grass/shrub area and tripped on iehter a pot hole or plant that I didn't see, (no punn intended). The worst part is, I'm fourteen and tomorrow I am suppose to run the mile at school, but I can't! Should I try? Any techniques for healing are apriciated! Has anyone else been in my same situation? Do you think its broken? Thanks

Posted by rccb626 on 10/6/2009 at 8:53 PMHi: it's rccb626. Thank you both! I didn't run the mile today (Thank god), and my teachers understood my situation, and went really easy on me in gym. I will try to get an appointment right away, but on a better note, it's feeling better. I iced it, and put a heat pack on it. ..., and I'm glad I didn't have Carly when that happened to me!

Posted by Hannahwashere on 10/20/2009 at 6:25 PMDont run it. Go see a doctor if you think it may be broken but use ice for swelling.
Hope you feel better
