Surgery

Hey,
Have any of you guys had surgery in the past for your vision? When I was 2 I had two surgeries for strabismus and it went away a little bit. Everyone I meet who is visually impaired has never had anything!

hey there!! im jillian and in the pas year since december ive had 6 surgeries!!! i just had one on monday, ive had several different kinds of eye surgeries too. if you are interested post on here and we can email back and forth or on here. do you need surgery or were you just curiuos? either way its okay! im here to talk if ya want to :)

I am done with the strabismus stuff for a while but I have to go for a consult for something else soon.
Jillian, if you dont mind me asking did you loose your vision recently?

Hi. I've had that when i was 1 year old. I didn't like it.

yes i lost it in my bad (left) eye and had surgery on monday, it hurts alot but i hope it wil get better. mine is all because of retinopathy of prematuriy which is where your retnas detach and that causes you to loose some or all of your vision.

I cant really complain about the surgeries I had because I would have been completely blind without them. I have practically no occular muscles even with the surgery

OK, i have surgery but only as a baby and my condition is R O P witch is what jillian had mentioned and i think you will be ok good luck

I'm totally blind, and I can't even see light. I have a condition called Leabers.
