Hello All! Quesiton about the Cane

Hello everyone!
I am enjoying sleeping in on my break so I don't mean to bring up school or anything but I have this serious issue. Between chemistry and math class we have to walk across the entire building and we always end up being late (I walk with two other people). My chem teacher knows I can't run if I use the cane but my friends don't get it! Any advice?
