Angry at my Screen Reader

So I was working on my laptop and all of the sudden it turns off because I ran out of battery. Why couldn't my screen reader have let me know so I did not loose my work!!! Ah I am ready to throw microsoft max out the window!

Jaws allways, and I mean allways tells me what is popping up on the screen.

Jaws atleast reads puntuation that Nvda does not read.

Jaws is better because it has a lot more navigation quick keys for the www.

i only use jaws at school. i like jaws too. i just think nvda is good if you cant aford an expensive screen reader.

jaws is better because you can use real speak voices with it.

I like NVDA because it is affordable as well. It might have been my computer or something. It has been spastic lately.
You can change settings on both NVDA and JAWS to read or not read punctuation. I think it is annoying so i tell it not to.

I have it only read mostpuntuation not all because all is so fricken anoying.

I have to the default stuff. I've turned automatic forms mode off though. I prefer the old way.

But... that's why rehabilitation for the blind, and using the ida clause to tell your district what you need is so very important.

Well, beb there, done that. I have been frustrated with screen readers. I mean, I have no issue with JFW, Window Eyes, oir both of those. I don't have an issue with System access To go. I have o experience with any of those other screen readers.

OK, jaws users. Can jaws read this? Note!! You will need to have unicode enabled or whatever your browser needs.

NVDA reads them perfectly, especially with the Greek voice of e-speak.
Yes folks, they were a few Greek letters, like Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon and so forth.
