Please Read This-Very Important

There aren't that many teens we can all talk to who actually understand what we are going through. It is a rare thing. I know when I am on here that i am not the only one who has ever questioned if my friends like me because of who I am or because they feel sorry for me. It is really scary-but I know I am not the only one. I know people get angry sometimes, but please sometimes talking to you guys is all I have. Dont take that away from me by bickering all of the time.

Re:Please Read This-Very Important

omg I soooo agree with this post. Talking to other teens like myself is actually all I really have. I'd hate to have this one thing that keeps me going taken away as well.
I sometimes don't understand why other teens are so judgmental if they see a Blind/VI person. It just doesn't make any sence to me. I mean, we're just as functional as they are, except for our vision status, but that shouldn't let that get us down.

And, It's all right, this is amusing to me. I actually have a life so I have other friends and I know they are really my friends because the voice shows it. they want to actually do things with me. Like I have one who would like to have a coffee date with me. I find talking to my adult friends preferable than teens though. They actually want to listen to my problems and actually understand. Sometimes, I feel like they sympathise as they say things bac

Re:Please Read This-Very Important

Yeah I agree with you guys I know what you mean!! it isn't very nice when people treat us that way I know that my friends are really my friends as well because If they were going to do something hurtful, make a horrible comment, or something like that I definently would know it!!
Rachel I think that it's good that you people who want to listen to your problems and that they are adults.

Re:Please Read This-Very Important

I know how you feel, to an extent. In 4th grade, I had a chance to try public school. It was amazing! I had "Friends" or who I thought were my friends. Most of them probably were, I'm not sure really. I had to go back to the "Braille Jail" because the public school couldn't teach me math. Oh how I wish I had known about the technology and people I know about now then. Oh how I wish... Parallel time anyone? :-)
