Does anyone use bookshare? Does anyone like it? I think it is really annoying for downloading books and stuff.

what?? are you joking?? I am waiting for my account username and password to be emailed to me but i have tried it once and i think it is really helpful and i don't think i have sceen the books that they have on there anywhere else
so yes i think bookshare is great

Lets look at it's pro's and con's because I think it is useful, but annoying. Yes, the books comes in a .zip extention, and is full of errors sometimes, but it's a great place to find matterials in braille when there isn't another option.

the process of unzipping the files is annoying but when you finally get there it is so useful. I was annoyed though because I wanted to get the new Dan Brown Book "the lost symbol" they had the file but it wouldn't open!

hey rebecka i think it could have ben the file type or maybe the file isn't supported

it was weird-I couldn't extract the file and I didnt have to type in my password like usual

Well, i have been using Bookshare since 2002. I have really enjoyed the use of that particular web page. I have had o issue with extracting books. Have you been using the new site?
