Hi my name is Aland, Ime 16 years old anHi my name is Aland, Ime 16 years old and I've been blind since birth. In April of 1008 I lost the little bit of vission that I had and I'm still pretty upset anout it. I've never really taled to a lot of blind people befor, altho I have a cupple of aquaintances. Most people at my school except mee but there are a few pricks, anyways, if you want to get to dnow me please send me a message.

Hello!
My name is Rebecca and I am legally Blind. I have no low contrast vision, hypersensitivity to light, no peripheral vision, poor distance vision and am completely blind in low light or no light. I read braille and print and use a cane. I will be turning 16 in three months, and I am in tenth grade.

Hi Rebecca, I turned 16 in august and I'm a junior. I only had a tiny bet of inner peripheral but now only sunlight allows me to see anything. I was just wondering, people have been talking about someone named Katy a lot, who is she???

Hi, I live in northern Idaho, lol no wonder I didn't here about this site until yesterday. What do you like to study in school? I'm a science chick myself, last yeat I took the coolest accelerated biology class, and this year I'm in honnors chem. It's really fun but it gives me a head ache. lol

I am a total science obsessed person as well.I take Honors Chemistry and I work in a lab at SUNY Stony Brook University! I love science I want to research retinal disorders and get a PhD in Computational Biology. Do you take any other higher level classes?

eh... Names Rachel. Welcome to AFB and nice to meet you. I am a total as well, and 17. I am in to the higher sciences or rather the humanities. I am a bit of a humanitarian, but then again... and I am in the tip of California.

Btw, Aland I could barely understand your post, as it was so full of grammatical and spelling errors. I had to read between the lines.

Hi! I am not taking any other accelerated classes besides science. That's cool that you want to research retinal disorders, I would really love to go into medicine. Oh wait, I'm taking an accelerated math class, geometry, oops I forgot that one. I really stink at English, I guess it shows. I was just wondering what kind of music do you like? I love classical music (because I am a violinist) but I also enjoy the popular stuff too! I took geometry last year and now I am taking pre calc. I am very excited!

It’s really great that we get to meet so many people like us who have problems with their vision and come and interact with each other here!! I’ve been coming here for a few months now and have made a lot of friends and now I look forward to coming here everyday and spending some time here as I have no one else to talk to at home!! I love to write and spend my free time writing stories and poems!!
