How do you guys organize your clothing?

Hello everyone! I am new to this website, and I want to make more friends. I don't have many friends, and this website is a great chance to connect with other blind teenagers like me. I was just wondering how you organize your clothing, and make sure your hair looks nice. My mom usually puts my clothes in order in the drawers. Please give me some advice!

Hi Sarah,
My name is Rebecca. I am legally blind and as a result I can't see low contrast. I also have no peripheral vision, and can't see in very bright light and dim or dark lighting along with 20/100 vision. I usually don't bother with makeup because it takes way too long. However I know how to put my hair up and flat iron it by feel (without touching the straightener of course). However I can see enough to match clothes and stuff. Sometimes though if I am going to someone else's house or a place I know has bad lighting for me to see anything I put brl labels on the tags like just a letter of the color because I know what I packed.

hello, sarah my name is Paulina i'm also legally blind and my mom also puts my clothing in a dror so i don't worry about it that much

Hi my name is Alana, I'm new here too so ya. A
nyways, I usually wear black so I don't have to worry about matching my clothes, and as to my hair, I just comb out the tangles and if I need to look really nice, my mom helps me do it up.

hey alana we have some things in common because i have a large collection of black shirts and i'm iether brushing my hair
or if we are going somewhere my mom will straighten it

Helo Sarah. My name is Sarah too! Lol! My mom and aunt organize my clothes and they help me with my hair when I need to look nice.

Hi, my name is Bobbi. I have enough vision to organize and seperate my clothes and to do my hair, but I still think I have a few tips that can help you. I take classes through the mail from the Hadley School for the blind. One of their courses is called Using Raised Markers that has helped me organize many different things, including clothing. The courses are completely free and very helpful (www.hadley.edu)

i don't have enough vision to organize my clothing i have heard of the school that you are taking classes at and about those raised markers

and also, you should put braille tags on your clothing that have abbreiviations of the colors of clothing.

Well, my mother used to use puffy paint. NOw, she uses those metal labels sthat yo usew on into my clothes. I mainly were blck pants and jeans.
