How do you label your canes?

Hi,
I am going on a trip with other kids who are legally blind. I am really excited but I know it is a ski trip and I am afraid our canes will get mixed up. Do you guys have any ideas as to how to label my cane so I know it's mine?

I never really thought about laveling my cane, but I guess it's a good idea! You could use plastic braille labels, raised marker/bump dots, or braille your name or initials on an adhesive paper label.

wow!!! huh!! I really never thought to that because i never leave my cane where everybody else does you could use braille labels
or maybe keep it in your bag

yeah-my problem is we are flying there and when we go through security they fold all of ours up and throw them in the same bin. Otherwise I would never leave it anywhere and usually put it in my bag.

I guess you could put your name on it and maybe if you can read print you can put yours in print

I some times hang a key chain off of the strap, that personalizes it. Alana

I can only read print with proper lighting so I decided to make a keychain and put a braille label on it. Thanks for your ideas though!

I put a keychain on the end of mine.
