guide dogs

Hi everyone, this is Alana. I'm in eleventh grade and I have applied to three guide dog schools. I don't really know what to expect when I get there or how people will react to me when I come back with a dog. Could you guys let me know what's gonna happen and how a dog will affect me? Also has anyone else ever wanted to get a dog. thanks

Well, I do not know if I will get one yet. I have applied to three school, I hope that will improve my odds of getting into a school. Hopefully one of the schools will say YES! I want to go next summer and I will be turning 17 years old. I really hope it happens. Hey Little Basic girl, who is little puddin? Pretty cute.

my sister(rccb626) applied for a kaynine buddy program. The kaynine buddy program is what the guide dogs for the blind holds to try to give young blind indeviguals the experience with a guide dog. The guide dog has to fail school some how. Our kaynine buddy(Scotland) made it up to phase 10 in training! He could not make it because he is very nervous around heavy traffic. Just by looking at him during the day, he is so goofy that you can not even picture him being 3/4 of a working dog. But when he has his leash, he is so serious!
