Posted by Joe S on 9/4/2010 at 8:22 AMYou have to be able to laugh at yourself. I bet your classmates felt that way.
Have a great new week!

Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/5/2010 at 12:43 AMI have n friends at school whatsoever.
Re:oops
Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/17/2010 at 4:47 PMThat's happened to me many times.
Re:oops
Posted by rachel N on 9/28/2010 at 3:02 PMI'd be so embarrassed. It's really not a good thing at all. I mean you could really be more careful. It's seriously nothing to laugh about. You could have been fined if you broke something.
well, as to things I say everything is intentional for a reason. I've ttold people many things and many of them have been embarrassed and really I don't care.
Re:oops
Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/28/2010 at 4:49 PMPeople always embarrass me, but I don't care anymore.
Re:oops
Posted by rachel N on 9/30/2010 at 8:05 PMI don't. I am not fun to embarrased. I don't ever get embarrassed. It's another way for them to get upset so they just don't do it.
Re:oops
Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/30/2010 at 11:42 PMThere's one good thing though, I never get bullied by sighted people because they're scared of my cane.
Re:oops
Posted by Wingman on 11/16/2010 at 9:48 PMI know what you mean about the cane its kind of entertaining some times though.
i let one of my band mates hold mine the other day for a second and he said he feels like hitting some thing with it he always jokes like that he really got a kick out of my folding cane that turned in to a perfect U last year.
Re:oops
Posted by tyler13 on 12/10/2011 at 4:22 PMI know what you mean. I bump into things a lot. I haven't done anything that serious. BTW the first week of school, I had to wear bandages on my feet because i had my toes worked on because they were infected.
Re:oops
Posted by Joe S on 12/10/2011 at 5:00 PMI think we all bump into to things, no matter how good of a traveler we are -- I consider myself a pretty good traveler. I would say that I bump head at least once a month, mostly because I am rushing or not paying attention at home or in hotel room. That isn't my cane's fault. I wrote about my cane on a blog post on FamilyConnect in October for White Cane Day --

Or, Go to www.familyconnect.org -- then go to the "Ask the Experts" blog post called, "I Never Travel without "Slim."
