ok, so heres the news. the sergin who was supposed 2 do my sergery called and said that my case was too complecated and theyre refering me up 2 portland. so i have 2 drive 7 hours with my parents, who will rightfully b stressed out ie ripping at eachothers throats, which will make me more stressed out then i already will b bcuz someones about 2 cut up my eye...! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! anyways, it too bad cuz the doctor who was going 2 do it was just out of medschool, therefore young, and mom told me he was way hot. my plan was 2 flirt with him, but in a way thats exscusable. ie, after i wake up from general and am somewhat coherant, pretend that im not and flirt 2 my hearts content. lol

Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/24/2010 at 1:27 AMI hope it's not too stressful for you. You're going to think I'm crazy, but sometimes, surgeries can be fun! I like the thrill of being high all day from the anestheia.

Posted by Chlorine17 on 9/24/2010 at 3:37 PMur right Sarah, as much as im scared, im also a little excited too. although general makes me sick. when i was 9 months old i swollowed a peny and it got lodged in my throat. they put me under and then yanked it out. i was one unhappy kid when i woke up. il have Kylee 2 entertain me, as well as my phone. the good thing is that the idaho comition 4 the blind can help pay 4 all of this stuff.

Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/24/2010 at 4:05 PMAt least you'll have Kylee. I had to go under at the dentist to have seven teeth pulled. I ended up falling asleep in the bathtub that day. I'm lxky I didn't drown.

Posted by letting go of the past on 9/24/2010 at 6:55 PMHey,
We'll all be here for you while you are going through all of this, good luck.
Also, about the thing with your parents (I know how that is), just bring music wiht you or maybe a book and your phone, i know putting my iPod on helps me out, because my family is always yelling when traveling and it annoys me.
Let us know how everything goes.

Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/24/2010 at 10:29 PMSeven hours is a long way. I've only been that long on a plane, and it was one boring ride because I didn't have an iPod then.
Re:update
Posted by Chlorine17 on 9/24/2010 at 11:02 PMi got seven or 8 teeth pulled, but they didnt put me under 4 x. i wish they had.

Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/24/2010 at 11:06 PMHave you ever taken Kylee to a theme park? I'm curious as to how a guide dog would act while it's master is on a ride.
Re:update
Posted by letting go of the past on 9/25/2010 at 1:08 AMI've never thought of that question, I wonder what would happen, because where would she be while your on the ride?
Re:update
Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/25/2010 at 2:16 AMSomebody would have to hold the dog while you're on the ride.
Re:update
Posted by Chlorine17 on 9/25/2010 at 12:37 PMshe'd probly freak out and think im being tortured, cause i'd b up on this weird contraption screaming. :) she gets protective at the eye doctor's office too. it's kind of funny. i had a small sergery done on my foot and she spent the entire time snarling at the doctor. i told her not to, but she didn't listen. mom took her out of the room and she wined the whole time apparently. the exact same thing happened during my senior photo shoot. she's funny
Re:update
Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/25/2010 at 2:58 PMForget that! I wouldn't want a guide dog if it freaked out whenever I had fun or if someone came near me.
Re:update
Posted by Wingman on 9/25/2010 at 7:56 PMKylee loves you very much i can just picture her growlling at the doctor. I wonder what Maggie will do on our first visit together. Have you tried haveing the doctors try to make a good impression with her? Which i don't know about you but i admit i'd probably would of incouraged her if i was in your possition.
Re:update
Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/26/2010 at 1:56 AMI honestly think a guide dog would be too much work for me to handle.
Re:update
Posted by rachel N on 9/28/2010 at 8:48 AMHaha! how did we get from eye doctor to guidedog? It's quite something. No, I wouldn't want a guidedog either. I don't like dogs. but I think it is better to have a nice dog. I know certain places train there dogs to be like that and it's sad because there treatments to dogs are horrible.
To the original topic however. Life is tough sometimes and you have to go through with it. It's miserable and unfair but it is how it its. You just got to deal with it. and, no flirting with the doctor is not a good idea. Most don't appreciate that kind of behavior especially from patients.

Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/28/2010 at 4:10 PMYes, I've changed a lot, and like Rachel, I'm very mature for my age. I never even flirt with boys. I just don't care for dating and all that kind of stuff. I'm going through a hard time because my uncle-in-law just died.
Re:update
Posted by Chlorine17 on 9/28/2010 at 9:04 PMdon't take me so seriously guys, i could have gotten in huge trouble for doing something like that. Sarah, not all guide dogs are like that, just Kylee, and i'm still working with her on her problems.
Re:update
Posted by Thrill Monster on 9/28/2010 at 11:22 PMYeah, but it Kylee had those protective problems, she usually wouldn't have passed the guide dog test.
