retinopathy of prematurity??

anybody with retinanopathy of prematurity?? (ROP for short) i always ask every once in a while cuz i know new people on ocasion get on here :) i always wonder if anybody else with this eye problem and what theve expereinced or have had any surgeries of it

hi my names annalee and i've got rop. i've only had surgery twice.

I have ROP. I've had 3 surgeries, 2 in my right eye and 1 in my left. My left eye can see color and shadows but my right eye can't see anything.

hey annalee! cool! ive had nine surgeries and need more :( but my good is stable and fine, its the left eye thats being stupid and falling apart lol :)

wow...that is a lot! i don't have any vision so they haven't tried any surgeries that would restore some vision cause it wasnt possible i guess.....im not reallly sure though?! lol. How old are you?

im 19, my name is Jillian. i have to have cataract surgery over thanksgiving break. which is wierd and different cuz of course since its ROP the other nine surgeries ive had have been to fix my retina, and now all those surgerues have caused a GIANT cataract to grow extremly rapidly and is causing problems

i'm only 15. so are you in college or hs? i'm a sophomore.

im a freshmen in college its sooo hard to get used to, i miss home alot
