Hi everyone. I got a new Samsung Restore from Sprint. I can now text because my phone reads messages to me.

Awesome you guys. I think this is so cool that we all have accesible phones that let us text together, that is so great.

It has talking menues, but it uses a prerecorded voice, so its not all accessible, especially the stuff like the world clock and all that. It reads text messages, but doesn't read what I write, so I try to not text, as I make 1000 mistakes in one sentance, :-)

I want this phone from Verizon called Samsung Haven. I'm going to try to get that. I jus want it for texting. Or does anyone have another type of phone service or phone I should try.

The iPhone comes out on Verizon in February.

It is an Android phone, but it has TalkBack in the accessibility settings so it can read everything I do on it, even texts. But I downloaded Handcent and can make the font bigger. :-)
