HEY I'm new!!!!!!

Hey I'm lizzy! I finally figured out how to use this. I loovve making new friends! I swim, i'm on the track team, and I do a LOT of extra coricular activities at school. Umm so yeah hit me up. Oh and i love speaking spanish so if you know some hablas conmigo.

i used to swim in 9th grade but i really sucked at it so i quit. i love cross country running though, but i'm bad at that too. haha. i guess things i like to do are mostly stuff that the normal teenager would find boring. AKA reading medical textbooks. ya, i actually do that. one of my friends has an apex, it kept deleting her homework. does yours do that? also, what's your eye condition. mine is bileteral optic nerve hypoplasia, which means the nerves going from the backs of my eyes to my vission cortex are too small. i used to have some sight until my retinas detached.

hey everyone! Elizabeth, do you only let specific ppl call u Lizzie? when I was little only my family was allowed 2 call me lizzy. then 1 day my mom came to my school for something and kept calling me lizzy, then all my friends called me tht and it just stuck. Now I feel like lizzy fits my personality more so thts how I introduce myself.
Chris you seem like a nice person, I suck at tech stuff so you will prob be getting a lot of questions from me, lol!

hey, my user name is a branch from my last name, and 7 is my favorite number. I don't get to swim often, because I don't have a pool anymore, and all the beaches around here that are any good are at least a half hour out. I like music, I play electric guitar, and I also like computers I am aiming to become a computer engineer.

comon misconseption. chlorine in its pure form is a yellowish green gas that when breathed in, is fatal. it rips electrons from the atoms in your cells. the "chlorine" in pools is actually a compound containing chlorine. ya, they reatached one of my retinas and it worked, but other problems with my eyes have made keeping my sight an imposability. i have a little light perseption left, but i'm going to lose that in about a month.

whoa girl! I had 4 sergeries and I thought tht was a lot. I love the name jillian, just sayin.
Annalee what kind of books do you like? Can you recomend some good ones, I need to practice reading to get my speed up.

Sometimes I let other people call me Lizzie, if there my best friends, they certainly call me that Lizzy. Oh I have to spell Lizzie 2 different ways on here. I can sugguest a good book. It's called, Nomber_The_stars.

thanks Lizzie! yeah ten is alot but im done and if my eye becomes unstable again and i need more retina surgery done i will probably not have it done, and if need be someday remove the eye. but for now im stable so im happy and not worrying about it :))

welcome to afb I'm 16 and legally blind in my right and complete with my left
I've had two surgeries but i don't remember them i was less than a year old when they did it. I've been loosing my vision since 6th grade (I'm in 10th now)
I like movies mostly, my favorite films the Wolf Man(1941), I also like to swim,read,write, computers and i like to do a lot of things that are out doors.

Alana what's cross country like I've been looking into it but I'm still a bit iffy on it

My name is McKenzie. I'm 15 years old and a Sophomore in high school. I have ocular albinism so my vision is about 20/400, but i have never had any surgeries.

Jillian, I know thats right! Don't worry about it just let whatever happens happen! I have the same attitude!
Wingman you had surgery on ur eye when u were a baby? how did they kno u were having trouble seeing?
Oh and about crosscountry unless u like running for miles and miles it's HELL! ur legs r tired ur throat is burning & u still have 2 miles left. but on the bright side ur body looks AMAZING! I mean killer legs, thys, butt, and abs!
Kenzie ur lucky u havent had surgery before. When I was 5 I started getting surgeries, I needed eyedrops after it. I needed them about 3 times a day 2 of which were during school hours, my school would not give me them, so I had to take a year off, which really sucked cuz I had to do kendergarden agn. The worst part is this was a school for the blind! haha u would think they would be used to this kind of thing but no.
