I need some advice

Hi you all this has been on my mind for some time now and a recent experience brought it back to mind back in either November or December I was discussing something with my English teacher in the parking lot heading to the car when a fire squad and ambulance sped in I didn't see them till I was pulled aside by my mom. They just about hit me I didn't think anything of it at the time but now it scares me.they showed negligence that could kill someone. As fast as they were going I didn't have time to figure out which way to move aside
I talked to my mom about it and she agrees with me I decided to go to the station and sort of give them a safety lecture I figured it might have a better effect coming from me
Do you guys have an idea on what I should say
Lindsay

Posted by Wingman on 3/14/2011 at 10:55 PMI understand that but at least in my state it was a break in protocol they are suppose to obey traffic laws especially in a school zone
And it that wasn't the first time ive been clipped by one in a wile back I just want to tell them to be a bit more careful cause I'm not the only one that could be hurt if they don't slow down

Posted by Joe S on 3/15/2011 at 8:53 AMIf you feel so strongly about this, and understandably so. You can always send a complaint next time. They will find out which emergency vehicle it was and which driver. They will look into it and probably reprimand the driver.
I am not telling you to do this, just saying that this is a way to make your voice heard for that type of situation.
I am sure it will happen again, I think we all have had similar situations.
Keep your head up!
Sincerely,
