I know it's a bit early but I thought I'd wish everyone a happy Halloween season. Mine's been good, earlier this month and part of last month I had what I thought was a migraine at first but it turned out to be mono and that was a nightmare. Luckily everything's getting caught up. Unfortunately mono caused me to be benched for the rest of Cross Country season oh well.
I'm working at Woods of Terror again this year. It's been a lot of fun and laughs. It's also been very eventful. My first night a customer apparently slipped a gun past security and dropped it in the woods. If it weren't I'm a good listener I would of thought it was a knife or something. It was unexpected to say the least. Some time during that night a woman went into labor in the Woods. I was in Virus again and had a blast. My guides were great I actually scared someone so bad they fell down.
My second night a guy slugged two actresses in the vampire section.
That night I was working the cage in Virus and with my fangs I played it well. After my guide came and got me on the way to my mom we caught up on things between this year and last. She started calling me miss awesome. She bragged on me to the makeup artists and they cheered for me since I have to leave before awards are given out at the end. Then she lead me on and bragged to the boss. We had a discussion about a few things like how I like it there etc. then she lead me to my mom and we left.
My third night I worked in the cage again a few customers shook the cage and its not weighted so... Luckily it didn't flip. People are crazy sometimes. That night we got photographed too so I might end up on the website with my buddies.
My fourth night I was in the cage again and a dude smacked me. Luckily just a bruise on the wrist. A customer almost flipped the cage too. My mom said she was going to get her ATF friend to hang out in the woods to take care of them next time. That night one of the actors got jumped in the parking lot.
Things were pretty calm the fifth night I know I got a creepy song stuck in a few customers heads. Hehehe
Tonight was great too my boss gave me this bracelet that's made up of skull beads. I also scared some people during the parade before going in the woods. Then the scares in the woods were great.
It's kind of funny the people I work with are having a hard time believing I'm blind. Since I can adapt out there so well. It's kind of funny they have to adapt to the dark, I'm total in the dark and they tell me I travel better than they do.
I think I'll end this here. How's everyone's October been?
Ps Leader dogs is just waiting on one of my references then it will be looked at and hopefully I will get a guide dog by November or December

It sounds like you're been having lots of adventures. My October has been very boring and frustrating. Wizard is really testing me to see what he can get away with. I hope you get your guide dog. Remember, be extra strict with your dog and keep him/her on tie down. If you don't, you'll be in my situation. `I can't let Wizard off tie down out of my room because he gets in to everything.

Hi Everyone. I haven't been on here very much. Sounds like you had a great past couple days, Wingman. Thrill Monster- Sorry your having such a hard time.
My October has been pretty crazy. I started my own business last week, and have already made over $100! So that's kept me super busy, then I'm taking physics right now, and it is TOTALLY kicking my butt! Have had a rough couple days today yesterday, just really... emotional, I guess. Anyways, have a great day!

Wow, it has been a busy month for you all. Mono, make sure you take care of yourself, it can come back if you don't rest and all that. I am sorr that you had to end your cross country season early due to this illness. Feel better.
Ah, Halloween, sounds like you are having a great time with the haunted woods gig this year. You seem to have your role down. Great stuff. Wow, a lot of interesting things happen down there, stay safe. Keep us posted on your expeiences.
Started a business
What kind of business did you start? Good for you. Keep up the hardwork on all ends, school and the business.
All the best and have a happy Halloween! Also, stay safe if you are on the East Coast! I know NC coast got hit, and there is probably some flooding in land in NC.

Hi Joe. Well, it is really complicated to explain to people who aren't book enthusiasts, but see there are 2 different kinds of authors- Traditionally Published, which are published by one of the 'Big 6' (Simon&Shulster etc) and then there are Indies (Independent Authors( who are self published or published by a small publishing house. What I do is help Indies get more fans and sales, and become better known in our little 'Indie Community'. If you want to check it out, here is the website- http://theindieshop.blogspot.com/

The woods were especially spooky tonight because of the wind from that storm. It was still a lot of fun besides freezing a bit. When I arrived in short sleeves and flip flops with long pajama pants they called me nuts hahaha I changed into sneakers before we went on the parade though. One of my friends in the pirate section gave me a hand warmer. In my section we were trying to figure out how to stay warm since vary little fits under our scrubs.
Tonight I freaked some people out from another haunted house by acting like I was nawing on the bars.Along with everything else I was already doing. Somewhere along the way I scared one of the Deaf guys too.
Last night was great too since it was raining I started singing a creepy song to the tune of its raining its pouring. It really creeped people.

Makes me wonder how my guide dog will be especially out at Woods of Terror next year. It'll be interesting i'm sure.
The night before Halloween and Halloween were great out at Woods of Terror. We did have some interesting things happen like this one guy started a fight in both texas house then our section then complained about us starting the fight. During that week we did a cast walk through where we all went through the woods since i was in virus i got to see the whole thing start to finish. First you go through a section called Infection it's full of both real and fake snakes. One of the guys had a boa out and came right behind me with it. i could swear it licked me it was that close. Then after infection came i think the Saw section then we went into the corn and one of the deaf boys that operates the chainsaws chased us through there. then we went through a bus, a hurse and a bus. Then we went into the clown house, then vampire house then zombies then Friday the 13th then A Nightmare on Elm Street then this section that took place in a movie theater type area i forgot what it was called then into Texas house. My buddy who was leatherface was the only one that remotely got me in the entire woods and that's cause he cranked the chainsaw at the right moment.
Halloween was great we got candy and had a lot of fun. Half the make up team was out though.
In the woods my buddy and i goofed around a bit. When our supervisor came by we acted like chickens and made her laugh. That's one of the best parts about being in virus we can do just about anything to freak people. One Halloween that same buddy and i sang the smurfs theme song then suddenly lashed out at people.
This past Friday and Saturday was Total Darkness, so everyone got a taste of what it was like for me down there. That was a lot of fun too. It's over now this Saturday is the cast party.
The make up artists told me i scared their boyfriend and he was surprised to hear i was blind.
