The American Foundation for the Blind -- the organization to which Helen Keller devoted over 40 years of her life - is a national, nonprofit organization whose mission is to enable people who are blind or visually impaired to achieve equality of access and opportunity. AFB CareerConnect is part of AFB's National Technology Program, which focuses on evaluating and reporting on assistive technology, advocating for access to information technology, and expanding information about the uses of technology in the successful employment of blind or visually impaired people.
