My dear Miss Keller:
I have received your very kind invitation of February 5th. I regret very much that my duties here until March 4th will prevent my accepting it. After that I am leaving immediately for California but I will be glad to be of any possible service to you that I can in any way that is practicable.
I wish again to express my appreciation for the great service and example you have so constantly given to the American people.
Yours faithfully,
Herbert Hoover
