Through relentless advocacy for accessible information and mainstream technologies, AFB's Public Policy Center seeks the full participation of people with vision loss in school, at work, and in their communities.

AFB works closely with policymakers and industry stakeholders to ensure the elimination of technical, bureaucratic, and attitudinal obstacles so that popular and useful off-the-shelf devices as well as online services can be used by individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
