Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss
Dear U.S. Representative,I am deeply alarmed that lives of visually impaired people are put at risk each day because they can't read their prescription medication. This illustrates the urgent need for Congress to develop national standards to help pharmacies provide accessible prescription drug labeling, and to be attentive to the unique needs of people with vision loss when considering health care legislation. As a supporter of the American Foundation for the Blind, I urge you to do precisely that. I know members of Congress differ sharply on many health care issues, but this is one on which I hope all can agree.Thank you very much,
