Active Living Research
Active Living Research is a research project designed by the American Foundation for the Blind, with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The project began in December 2004, and the final data were collected in July 2006.
Livable Communities
The Livable Communities project documents the impact of the environment on disability. The project identifies criteria that people who are blind or visually impaired in the United States use to rate livable communities, and it highlights the role of advocacy in creating enabling environments.
