The AFB Senior Site message boards will be monitored by staff from Guide Dogs for the Blind, our agency of the month for June.

I am 71 and over the past 2 years have lost a great deal of vision. I used to walk a great deal. Now I am afraid to get out of the house. My wife insists that I think about getting a dog to help me get around. But I think I am too old. Can someone give me some guidance?
