In honor of National Diabetes Month, we are featuring a number of articles and events regarding diabetes and its impact on vision.

On November 12, AFB is partnering with the Verizon Foundation, supporter of Senior Site, and the Lighthouse of Pinellas for a special unveiling of the AFB Senior Site Diabetes Guide in English and Spanish. The program features Enrique Oliu as MC. Enrique is blind and is a sports commentator for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team.

The Lighthouse of Pinellas is the November agency of the month. Find out more about what they offer people with vision loss and diabetes.
