Description of Case Studies: Two Beginning Braille Readers
This chapter presents case studies of two beginning braille readers—a fully mainstreamed kindergartner on grade level with her sighted classmates and a student with significant cognitive and physical disabilities with limited school experience. The case studies illustrate many of the reading and writing activities described in previous chapters.
