Description of Note-taking Skills
This chapter reviews the techniques and functions of notes, as well as the different media for note taking and how to decide which style best suits the student. It covers how to take notes in general, as well as subject-specific methods. There is an introduction to the various tools available for students who are visually impaired, from basic pen and paper to assistive technology. The chapter concludes with techniques on how to access information from visual sources in the classroom.
