Description of CVI Focus Webinar 2: Using the CVI Range for Functional Visual Assessment
The second webinar in the series pertains to the CVI Range and provides information on a method to assess the functional vision of individuals with CVI. The CVI Range is a reliable and valid instrument (Newcomb, 2010) that is used to determine the degree of CVI on a zero to 10 scale. Interventions are designed to correspond with The CVI Range scores in order to provide precise supports based on the status of the CVI characteristics. The CVI Range can be used across a broad age-range from infancy to early adulthood.
