Description of Teaching iPhone and iPad Basics to Seniors with Vision Loss

Apple Inc.'s accessible devices have made an impact on the community of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. More and more often, as professionals we are being asked to train consumers on their iPads and iPhones, and it's no longer just traditional technology students. Seniors are learning to use these devices and improving their quality of life in the process. This webinar takes a step by step look at how to introduce and teach an iDevice to a senior who is blind or visually impaired.

Rachel Buchanan is a CVRT who has worked in blindness rehabilitation for 10 years. She has extensive knowledge about teaching assistive technology. Rachel is the Director of Vocational programs at World Services for the Blind in Little Rock, AR.
