Description of Anatomy and Physiology of the Eye
This chapter provides readers with information about the structures and functions of the eye and how they transmit visual information to the brain. The chapter is organized around four major topics: structures surrounding the eyeball, or globe; structures of the globe; the transmission of visual information from the eyes along the visual pathways to the brain; and the process of "seeing" in relation to vision.
