Description of An Evaluation of the Functionality and Acceptability of the Voice Prescription Label
An evaluation of the Voice Prescription Label (VPL), a miniaturized electronic unit that provides audio representation of printed prescription information, with 25 visually impaired veterans revealed that most of the participants strongly preferred the VPL to previous prescription aids and recommended its use for others. The results suggest that the VPL is sufficiently developed for testing with a more diverse and clinically complex population.
