Description of Career Education - Volume 2, Chapter 19 Foundations of Education
Students who are blind or visually impaired need to have direct, active experiences with various jobs and responsibilities throughout their school careers. This chapter presents an overview of the career development process and learning activities that promote the acquisition of vocational and functional life skills by visually impaired students. Also described are career education content and specific activities that can be used to structure learning in this critical area.
