Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

Described TV Listings

Several of the most popular television networks are making certain prime-time and children's programs accessible to viewers with vision loss by adding video description. Use our search tool to find out what video-described shows will be airing soon.*

For now, these networks are required to provide a total of at least 50 hours of described programming per calendar quarter, or about 4 hours per week. The requirement for description of television programs was included in the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA), enacted on October 8, 2010.
