Descriptive Video Services

My mom recently became blind, and I am looking for TV Series on DVD that I can purchase for her which include the Descriptive Video Service. Is there a way to check which DVDs include that service before purchasing them, or a website that has a list of them? She likes Law and Order, and crime shows like that. Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes.
I use the Blind Mice Mart movie collection quite often. You have to create an account to access them. There is no charge to use any of their movies or shows

Re: Descriptive Video Services

Hi,
Have you checked on the braille and library services website? I don't have much experience with them, but from what I can tell they have a wide variety of movies and tv shows for borrowing. Most dvds now have the descriptive service already on them. It's a setting in the menu that comes up when you put the movie in. I believe some tv providers also support some descriptive services as well. I hope this helps.
