Expanding possibilities for people with vision loss

need help/suggestions

My husband has Keratoconus and is waiting for his transplant to heal, another 3-6 months, he is also not working, due to a rotator cuff that cannot be fixed after 2 years of surgeries and physical therapy. He says he isn't depressed, but he doesn't want to do anything with me, which makes me feel unwanted. Any suggestions as to what we can do together? He can't even see faces on the tv...

Hi, not sure if you are still in need of supports but this might help. I recently lost a lot of vision due to age related macular degeneration. I have used a lot of the dialectic behavioral therapy skills to get through the hard parts. These skills are posted hundreds of places on line. My story is at mymacularjournal.com. I am a professional and cannot make specific recommendations for your husband but I have personally found these skills helpful.

Hello, I have toxoplasmosis so I am low vision. What does your husband do during his recover? Anything constrictive? How does it make you feel?
