Activities of Daily Living

Hello: not sure if this is the right forum. I am a totally blind adult with limited use of one arm. What available resources are there in Westchester county and New York City?

Thank you. While I understand that you are affiliated with CBVH, I am wondering if there are any alternatives to CBVH. Reply Title Thanks. While I understand that you are affiliated with CBVH, I am wondering if there are any alternatives to CBVH. Pl

If you are currently a client of the New York State Commission for the Blind, you should speak with your rehab counselor about this. Your local office is located in White Plains; the main number is (914) 993-5370. (I work for the agency, but in a different location.) There are a number of agencies which provide service in the areas you mention: Lighthouse Gild, Visions Services for the Blind, Catholic Guild for the Blind, and Helen Keller Services for the Blind come to mind.

Best of luck to you.
