Cone (rod) Dystrophy and using computers

hello,
I'm sorry if a similar question has been asked already but I have CRD and I spend a lot (10+) hours a day using a computerr. Is this drastically damaging my eyes? I read somewhere that CRD deteriates quicker due to bright lights but i'm unsure.
thanks in advance,
mike

Re:Cone (rod) Dystrophy and using computers

Its been awhile since you've posted your question. If you are still checking for responses I hope this helps. My son was diagnosed with cone dystrophy and we where told to get blueblocker sunglasses for him to wear outside at all times. The sun and bright lights are not good for him. I'm not sure about computers the Dr.s never said he couldn't use them.

Hope this helps.
