Employment ideas for a school project - inviting opinions and suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am brainstorming ideas for a class project that involves designing an inclusive park/community center. I was considering suggesting 2 establishments that would create employment opportunities for people with visual impairments- a dining in the dark experience: https://www.theblindcafe.com and a museum exhibit similar to the one described in this article: http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20160812-how-it-fe...

The public would pay for admission to the museum exhibit or buy a ticket to the dining experience and, ideally, these would offer livable wage positions to the employees.

My main concern is how these employment positions may be perceived within the visually impaired community? While the intention is to promote awareness through these experiences and create jobs, I am wondering whether these job opportunities may feel insensitive or exploitative.

If you would be willing to share your opinion, I would greatly appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Thank you for reading,
Lauren

My thesis is about creating a comfortable rehabilitation center for visually impaired adults... so can you give me suggestions for my survey questions? things i can ask them to make things easier and better for them?

Sorry, here is the correct link to an article describing a museum exhibit where visitors are led through different settings in darkness.
