Grocery shopping while visually disabledm - input needed

Hi folks

I'm a student at the University of Missouri business school. I'm researching the problems people face while shopping - one particular problem being reading food labels and the challenges one faces when they have food allergies. Folks without visual problems find labels confusing so I'd like to talk to the visually disabled so that I can understand their challenges. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me to talk about your experiences.
My general questions
1) Do you have an allergy or food intolerance?
2) How do you handle shopping for food and reading food labels
3) Do you avoid any specific foods/food groups

Thanks
Keisha J

.. "visually disabled"? you make it sound like my graphics drivers aren't compatible with my operating system. The word is blind. Political correctness can sometimes be far more annoying than it is helpful.
