Introducing myself to the community: Michelle, AFB intern

Hi everyone,
You may have seen me poking around on these threads a bit, so I thought I would take a moment to formally introduce myself. My name is Michelle, and I am a blind college junior from New York. The AFB has hired me as an intern to moderate discussions a bit, but I want everyone to know that I am mainly here as an additional friend and voice of support. I have been blind most of my life, so I have dealt with a lot of the important issues blindness has to offer: how to be a good student; how to find friends; how to apply for a job; how to travel and generally live my life to its fullest. if you feel you're not having a question adequately answered on the boards, or if you'd just like to chat, you can find me here. I certainly don't have all the answers, but i'd love to brainstorm with you.
