Don't worry so much I lost my left eye 38 years ago. I can back a trailer into any spot, drive at 85 miles an hour or greater if I think I can get away with it. Life goes on for all of us with the up's and downs. Just wear goggles when you are doing something that could affect the good eye. The most problem when it first occured was pouring milk. After adjusting to the short coming I can tell if something is .005 higher than the other.

I lost mind a little over a week ago in my right eye due to playing volleyball. If the optic nerve is severed then there is no way doctors can fix that. If its not the optic nerve then you have a chance to see again
