Post-Retinal Stroke Expectations

I have had a Retinal Stroke in my right eye and now I am blind in it. What will happen years from now? Any symptoms I should expect? Will my blind eye's appearance change? Will pain develop in my eye or head? I thought my 1st Ophthalmologist told me I would probably need cryo or laser surgery but I cannot remember, anyone?

Re: Post-Retinal Stroke Expectations

My opinion is that these are questions for your eye doctor, PCP, or even a neurologist. The only common knowledge item I could think of when I read this is that if you have any vision left in your impacted eye, there may be a risk of the healthy eye becoming sympathetic causing degradation to your vision.
best of luck
