The fear of marrying someone who's blind.

Hi all, I am posting this question on behalf of a sighted woman who is in a relationship with a totally blind man. But one of her gratest doubts which she hasn't discussed with him is about love making. I am sorry guys if you are offended with this question but here it goes? Will he be able to make love to her the way sighted men do? She wants opinions from other people who are blind

Re:The fear of marrying someone who's blind.

I am totally blind and my fiancae is fully sighted. If you really would like me to be honest about this? Quite frankly, she really should be addressing this concern with her partner. Not through someone else. My Fiancae addressed this issue early into our relationship. He found out very quickly, that his fears were relieved. He's not complaining. That even going through menopause from a hysterectomy, I still can provide for him and he's quite satisfied! In fact, I have heard him tell his gentlemen friends, that "Blind people really can do it better in the dark." Hope this helps.

Dear friend I had read your your message on eye and like to give you some guaranteed method for your eye health.Dear friend we all know life is cycle of giving and receiving and we receive what we give to this world and in what quantity. This law created by the god and an universal law.If we give love we receive love, give money receive money, give happiness receive happiness in much more quantity. So if you make a difference in life of blind persons your also eye problem is disappear beacause you give vision to anyone by help,so gradually you receive vision. So I kindly request you to donate money for minimum one operation of poor person in India. One cataract operation for poor person in india cost only $65.It my personal experience because I face serious eye problem for 5 years of my life.So don't think just donate kindly.Below is the address of India's top hospital who do free surgery for poor.

Re:The fear of marrying someone who's blind.

I'm legally blind.....I am happily married and have no problems with having sex with my husband. Trust me blind people are more tuned into people than you would think. We pay more attention to breathing ...heartbeats ...

Think of it as trying to have sex with no lights on .... if you cant imagine it try it ...:) I hope this helps .

Re:The fear of marrying someone who's blind.

hi. it is no different than any other couple. Constructive, non-insulting communication of likes and dislikes, encouragement, reinforcement are key, and frankly the experience of either partner. let's face it, a newby is a newby sighted or not. i've been blind since i was six, and active in regards to your question since i was 15, and i am quite comfortable with my "skill set."
