Posted by anystrom on 11/20/2011 at 12:29 PMI have a babee tenda crib, and we love it! We are actually just about done with it (my youngest is 15 months), so we will be ready to sell it soon if anyone is interested. We live in MN, but could possibly ship it. We also have their feeding table, which is WAY safer than most high chairs because of its wide base and low height. We'll be selling that soon as well. You can reach me at mnmama3 (at) gmail.com

Did you decide to try the Babee Tenda conversion crib or the crib tent that Michelle mentioned? If so, did they work for your needs or decide find something else that was better?
Take care,

Re:CRIB BED WITH PROTECTIVE RAILS
Posted by RoseMario on 11/25/2010 at 7:51 AMYou should get a bed rail that provides good security when you need it, then slides out of sight beneath the mattress when you don't. The longest folding bed rail I've found, and the only one with a rugged metal bracket was a Hide-away extra long bed rail (others use less-sturdy plastic and fabric ties). Makes changing linens a breeze. As for me, I needed two sides of protection. I got extra side rail separately; it's non-sliding.

Mario

Baby Tenda Baby Crib to Sell
Posted by JoanT on 11/19/2007 at 10:34 PMI want to buy the Baby Tenda Baby crib but I haven't had any luck yet. I have tried to buy the Baby Tenda baby crib online at different sites only to be out bid or find out the Baby tenda crib has been sold already. Two of my friends in our support group have the baby Tenda cribs and can't say enough good things about them but that doesn't help me find a way to buy them. They bought their BabyTenda cribs through a magazine and again I have had no luck finding a BabyTenda ad. I called the Baby Tenda factory and they gave me the # of a local Baby tenda distributor. I haven't called yet because I was hoping to get a better deal online. I need to buy the baby tenda crib soon If you have one for sale please email me at joanthomas_t@sbcglobal.net.

Babee Tenda Baby crib bed with protective rails
Posted by Password on 1/6/2004 at 7:25 PMWe decided to use the Babee Tenda converting crib due to so many recalled baby cribs found at the safetyalerts.com infant recall section due to the cribs falling apart. I must say this Babee Tenda crib is solid and my mom helped me put it together in 10 min. we were expecting all day but it went together easily. After it was put together I had my other half who should have been there to help us put it together climb inside the crib and the crib did not budge an inch and both drop sides will lower with one handed locks on all four corners while keeping it childproof but not adult proof. You are right they are expensive but what isn't that is high end furniture.
Re:CRIB BED WITH PROTECTIVE RAILS
Posted by rogerk on 2/26/2003 at 3:54 PMI purchased a Babee Tenda crib one year ago directly from the Babee Tenda factory. It cost just under $1,000 with shipping. The shipping company damaged every box in the delivery. Not one box, but all boxes. I called Babee Tenda and in three days a whole new crib arrived at my front door without a scratch. Babee Tenda's customer response time was impressive. I have inspected the many different cribs my relatives are using for their babies and I must say, "The Babee Tenda conversion crib is in a safety, design, and quality league all of its own".
Re:CRIB BED WITH PROTECTIVE RAILS
Posted by Jennifer39 on 2/21/2003 at 11:11 AMI have found the Babee Tenda crib has several unique features to the world of cribs. Child proof locks which are child proof and yet not difficult for us as parents to use with one hand while the other hand holds the baby. An evenly firm flat sleeping surface for the baby, no slouching springs or wires. The matress, box support, and crib sheets came with ours. This crib is solid, extra tough. When our kids were too big for it as a crib we could convert this Babeetenda crib to a toddlers bed without having to buy an extra matress, hardware, or accessories. It all came with it. There are even protective teething guards on all four top surfaces. I have been very pleased with Babee Tenda.
Re:CRIB BED WITH PROTECTIVE RAILS
Posted by Dadnus on 2/11/2003 at 3:09 PMI agree with Michele about the Babee Tenda conversion crib. It is extremely sturdy compared to other cribs. It has a special side door feature and comes with a matress, box support, and crib sheets. It is more expensive than a standard crib, but you definitely are getting what you pay for. I raised all my kids in one and after 12 years it still looks and works like new.
Re:CRIB BED WITH PROTECTIVE RAILS
Posted by Michele Villegas on 2/19/2002 at 4:15 PMYou could try 2 things.
The babee Tenda bed has high rails and a sturdier than usual bed frame.
Also, you could try a crib tent. The completely cover and enclose the top of the bed. They were originally designed to keep animals out of children's beds but they also work as an extra safety feature to keep the children in. I use one and works quite well.
