Hello, depending on how much money you are willing to spend on GPS units, there are a couple of excellent options. first of all, by attending a camp last summer, which was presented by Leader
Dogs, I received a free Trekker plus Maestro that has the ability to act as a GPS and a note-taking device. Here are some of the features the Trekker plus Maestro can do: Browse the Internet, send and receive e-mail messages, possesses a music player, which is similar to Windows Media Player, allows users to record voice notes, read books from BookShare, and much, much more. As far as the GPs aspect is concerned, Trekker will do the following through a keypad that has been put over the touch screen: Indentify intersections, allow the user to browse in offline mode, find and create Points Of Interests, and much more. However, if you want a cheaper solution, invest in Mobile Geo. The web address is codefactory.es. Do not place WWW in front, or the page will not render content correctly. More information on Trekker plus Maestro or similar products can be located by visiting www.humanware.com
Hope this helps you,
Nathan.
