Building an electronic magnifier with boughten parts

In the AT Blog, Wed. June 9, Luke Hsieh, Assistive Technology Advocate, Community Access Center, Riverside CA, tells of building an electronic magnifier with boughten parts for a little more tha $100. He used the Logitech Webcam Pro 900, selling for about $70. For software he chose Debut Video Capture made by NCH Software, which costs approximately $39. The housing was a lunchbox. I don't know how it was supported.

Perhaps the Lions would like to take this on as a low cost project using members skills and labor instead of having to raise funds and buying the expensive kind.
