Developing an Intelligent Wearable - Smart Visor - for visually impaired individuals

Hi everyone,
My name is Silviu and I do Research and Innovation.
My team and I are working on a prototype headset that aims to provide visually impaired individuals a sense of motion and nearby environment, allowing them to navigate the world more freely and safely (https://devmesh.intel.com/projects/184)

The device will implement several features, such as obstacle detection, scene recognition and non-braille text reading.

We would love your suggestions and advice, in order to build the best visual aid device possible.

Yours truly,
Silviu
